The Story of Fred A. Kahn - Available on Amazon
In this season of Presidential debates, I think of a Jewish survivor friend of mine named Fred Kahn. This bright young man immigrated to the United States after the Holocaust. As a college student, he had the idea of inviting the two presidential candidates of that day, Kennedy and Nixon, to debate. He wrote a simple letter and enlisted the help of First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt to invite them. Once they agreed to come, he contacted the television stations asking them to televise and the rest is history.
A young Jewish boy who survived the horrors of Hitler's Holocaust was the catalyst to change the face of politics forever. Read The Story of Fred Kahn (a.k.a. Freddy Lejeune) written by young author Marcus Yarboro which is available on Amazon.
